Direct to Garment

Direct to garment, or DTG, is a textile printing method. Unlike other printing methods, such as heat transfer or dye sublimation, DTG printing uses water based ink in order to print directly onto the garment, using a DTG Printer.

COLOR + DETAIL

DTG is often used to print detailed or very colorful designs. The best results are found when printing on white garments. White allows the full vibrancy and true hues of the design to show.

dtg loves cotton!

The more cotton your garment has, the better the results with DTG. Below shows a pink shirt that is made of 100% cotton vs the tan garment which is a blend that contains less than 50% cotton. The same design file was used to print both garments. So keep in mind that your garment material & color as well as your design colors will affect the look of the final printed piece.
